What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pediatric Hospitalist position at Pediatrix?
Overview
We are seeking a per diem, experienced, Board Certified Pediatric Hospitalist to be part of our team at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, MD.
Responsibilities
- 20-bed unit with an ADC of 4-6
- Full time support from an array of pediatric subspecialties available
- Patients are drawn from the pediatric emergency department, OR/PACU, general and subspecialty outpatient offices and surrounding hospitals
- Clinical responsibilities include general inpatient pediatrics, consultations, and co-management of other pediatric subspecialty patients
Qualifications
- MD license or active IMLC only
- Board Certification in Pediatrics with recent hospitalist experience required
