What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pediatric Intensivist position at Pediatrix?
Overview
Pediatrix is seeking per diem Board Certified pediatric intensivist to join our well-established team of experienced providers, caring for critically ill children at Sinai Hospital.
Responsibilities
- Average daily census of 3-4
- Pediatric residents are taught within this unit
- 12-hour shifts
- Assessments and management of patients in a six-bed PICU
- Consults from the pediatric emergency department and referrals from outside emergency departments
Qualifications
- Board Certification in Pediatric Critical Care and recent experience required
- MD license or IMLC strongly preferred
