Responsibilities
The Procurement Analyst is a first-tier level of the Pediatrix Sourcing and Procurement department that supports the team involved with the purchasing, negotiating, and delivery functions within the organization.
The Procurement Analyst is responsible for Purchase Order creation, invoice processing and other related procurement duties.
Responsibiities
- Work within a clearly defined, regulated, and monitored procurement process to meet industry standards and Pediatrix specific sourcing strategies.
- Organize, prepare, and process purchase orders in accordance with organization's policies and procedures. Assist in preparing complex invoice allocations prior to submission to Accounting for payment.
- Adhere to the financially tiered approval process as prescribed in Pediatrix's requisition, contract management, purchase order, and payment systems.
- Participate in meetings and discussions and provide updates to team members and management.
- Help execute Pediatrix's contract management process and application, Apttus, and ensure all legal requirements are documented in the contract management application including Business Associate Agreements, Non- Disclosure Agreements, Master Services Agreements, and Statements Of Work.
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with internal Pediatrix departments, including IT, Accounting-A/P, PMO, Legal, and Facilities.
- Assist team members as needed to work with finance and accounting to ensure transactional records are accurate and appropriately applied to conform to depreciation, budgetary, and financial reporting requirements and standards.
Qualifications
Experience/Education:
3 years of like experience
Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience.
Knowledge/Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Detail oriented
Strong data entry skills with emphasis on accuracy
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with precision and professionalism
Customer-service focused
Critical thinking
Time management; ability to process high volume invoices and purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner
Hardware/Software:
Proficient MS Office skills
Working knowledge of Oracle Financials
Purchase Module experience is a plus
