Program Assistant
Overview: Pee Dee Healthy Start (PDHS) is seeking a Program Assistant for data collection, data management, and compliance. The Program Assistant monitors and analyzes the collection of data to meet program requirements. This position is also responsible for preparing reports capturing data elements regarding program metrics.
This position is federally funded.
Summary:
Salary: $30,000-$38,000
Status: Full Time

Education: Bachelor’s degree mastered preferred in math, statistics, operations research, business administration, public administration, government, economics, or other field relevant to data analysis.
A combination of equivalent education and work experience may be substituted for the above requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities: Provides ongoing data quality assessment and monitoring of compliance in the database system and has the knowledge to filter, review, and clean data reports. The Program Assistant identifies, analyzes, and interprets trends or patterns in data sets and validates data. This position monitors timelines and quality of report submissions and ensures they meet program federal requirements. Moreover, the Program Assistant assists in the creation, modification and review of data collection tools. Providing training and guidance to staff on data-related issues is a key role of this position. The Program Assistant must complete all required training, certifications, meetings, and conferences as required.
Required Knowledge and Skills: Must understand the core services and philosophy of PDHS and the populations served. Develops and maintains PDHS Bridging the Gap data collection, reporting, monitoring and security plans and procedures and ensures the plan aligns with all security requirements.
