Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Services Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities by managing services and ensuring that their needs are met effectively. This position requires strong administrative skills, relationship management capabilities, strong multi-tasking skills, and a background in Social Work, Early Education, Human Service or related field.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee services for individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring their needs are met in a timely manner.
- Develop and implement individualized service plans that align with the goals of each client
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to client services
- Foster positive relationships with clients, families, and community resources to enhance service effectiveness.
- Monitor Indivdualize service plans and make necessary adjustments to improve outcomes for clients.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to advocate for the needs of individuals receiving services.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, sociology, Early Education or a related field preferred.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable.
- Strong organization skills and ability to manage caseload effectively.
- Proficient in multi tasking and meeting deadlines
- Excellent relationship skills to build rapport with clients, familes and community providers.
- Knowledge of developmental delays and principles is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
