Early Interventionist

Peek-A-Boo Early Intervention is growing tremendously! We are seeking dedicated Early Interventionists to join our team. As an Interventionist, you will work closely with families to provide direct intervention support and assistance to help their child's overall development. Your role will involve implementing intervention strategies, collaborating with treatment providers, and monitoring your child's progress.

Duties:
- Develop and implement intervention strategies based on the child's needs
- Collaborate with families to identify areas of improvement and develop targeted interventions
- Provide one-on-one intervention with child and family
- Utilize various teaching methods and learning technologies to enhance child's engagement
- Monitor child's progress and adjust interventions as necessary
- Implement behavior management intervention strategies to support child's success
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure coordinated support for the child
- Complete documentation to support intervention services

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of developmental and instructional strategies
- Experience working with babies, toddlers, preschool or early childhood age groups
- Excellent conflict management skills to handle challenging situations effectively
- Ability to engage and connect with children, building positive relationships
- Familiarity with learning technologies and their integration into home setttings.
- Effective behavior management techniques to address individual child needs
- Knowledge of toddler care practices and ability to provide appropriate support
- Understanding of physical education principles for promoting healthy development in children.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Special Education, Psychology, Social Work, Human Services or a related field.
- Previous experience working as an Interventionist or in a similar role is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
