About The Position

General Responsibilities
- Instruct visitors in proper shooting skills and techniques, safety skills, and range etiquette. Teach formal classes as well as less formal club and event settings while remaining professional and keeping safety as top priority.
- Assist in developing and leading programs and activities.
- Strictly enforce all safety guidelines and monitor for the proper use of equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service, assist visitors, answer questions, and maintain a positive range experience. Elevate questions and complaints as appropriate to range manager.
- Staff the check-in area and small merchandise store, utilize POS system, assist visitors with creating profiles and reserving lanes.
- Assist in range upkeep such as sweeping, cleaning restrooms, and emptying trash cans.
- Inspect, maintain, and repair a variety of archery equipment including compound and recurve bows, arrows, and targets. Training is provided. Keep inventory and log of equipment use.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Ability to stand for many hours, work in all-types of weather such as wet, cold, hot, humid, and sunny conditions. Perform manual labor including lifting supplies and materials up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent public speaking and customer service skills required. Ability to work with all ages and genders of archers with a professional attitude.
- The Quiver Archery Range is open Wednesday – Sunday. This position is required to work weekends, evenings, and some holidays. Schedule may vary due to weather, daylight, and special events.
- Part time positions are available. Part time positions receive 4 hours of holiday pay on company holidays.
- Archery experience is preferred, but not required.
- Must have or be willing and able to obtain a USA Archery Level 1 or Level 2 certification. Training and certification to be provided.
- Must be a quick learner and willing to maintain flexibility with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High school graduate/GED is required. Additional education is preferred.
