About Us:
We are a patient-focused optometry practice dedicated to providing exceptional eye care and stylish eyewear. We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Optometric Assistant to join our team and help deliver a top-tier experience for our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and assist with check-in/check-out
- Perform pre-testing and diagnostic screenings (e.g., auto-refraction, tonometry, visual field tests)
- Assist optometrists with patient care and medical history documentation
- Educate patients on eyewear options, lens technology, and contact lenses
- Verify insurance benefits and process claims
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and equipment
- Assist with scheduling appointments and answering patient inquiries
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an optometry or medical office is a plus but not required
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Basic computer proficiency and experience with Eyefinity EHR and EPM systems (preferred)

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
