Job Overview:
- End client is seeking a seasoned Oracle ERP Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead their Oracle ERP implementation initiative.
- This individual will serve as the primary point of contact for the engagement and will play a pivotal role in defining and driving the overall project vision.
- The SME will be responsible for gathering and interpreting business requirements, assembling a capable implementation team, and ensuring a seamless deployment of Oracle ERP solutions.
- This role demands strong expertise in Oracle ERP’s Financial and Supply Chain Management (SCM) modules, as well as a comprehensive understanding of various implementation methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into Oracle ERP solutions.
- Act as the lead Oracle ERP advisor, providing expert guidance on functionality, best practices, and implementation approaches.
- Assemble, mentor, and manage a high-performing project team to ensure successful delivery.
- Develop and execute detailed implementation strategies, including gap analysis, configuration, testing, and deployment.
- Provide leadership in resolving project issues and risks, and drive timely decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct knowledge transfer sessions, training, and workshops for the client and internal teams.
- Stay current with Oracle ERP product updates, market trends, and best practices to provide innovative solutions.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a lead consultant or SME in Oracle ERP implementations, with in-depth knowledge of Financial and SCM modules.
- Strong understanding of Oracle ERP implementation methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid approaches.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex business processes and design efficient Oracle ERP solutions.
- Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a results-oriented approach.
Preferred Experience:
- Oracle ERP certification or equivalent credentials.
- Prior experience working within the client’s industry or familiarity with industry-specific Oracle ERP extensions.
- Hands-on experience in configuring Oracle ERP modules and developing custom solutions when necessary.
- Understanding of integration points between Oracle ERP modules and third-party applications.
