Job Requirements :
The Project Manager will lead complex global projects (abilities up to Ccategory) throughout the project life cycle which includes agreeing targets and work packages with project staff and delegate defined work packages provide technical solution integration of all systems execution of site activities managing acceptance tests and final project handover
The project manager is responsible for project planning and oversight of planned activities from beginning to end.
They balance budgets keep track of work in progress collaborate with suppliers handle risks and ensure projects are completed per schedule.
The individual will work with engineering drafting supply chain management manufacturing quality and shipping to ensure the overall scope of supply per the quotation proposals is achieved.
The individual will run large multifaceted projects and multiple projects at the same time.
Run the order entry and transition process for assigned projects.
Review orderentry packages and facilitate the receipt of all required information.
Drive adherence to the Order Entry Process
Initiate the project through required formalities and internal / external kickoff meetings.
Work Experience :
Bachelors degree in engineering required (Mechanical Chemical Aeronautical / Aerodynamic or equivalent degrees from an ABET accredited college / university will be considered)
Minimum 7 years of experience as an active Project Manager in an engineering environment like production manufacturing or project execution
Experience with Gantt charts and Scheduling & SAP
An interest and proficiency in project execution and a curiosity about providing leadership within a collaborative engineering team.
Possess and demonstrates a high degree of tact and integrity; capable of communicating with Management Peers Shop Personnel and Clients
Broad technical background high attention to detail and excellent written and oral communication skills
Good digital literacy and experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook PowerPoint) and basic 2D / 3D CAD
Position requires experience in project planning scheduling communication execution coordination administration and documentation with a commitment to customer satisfaction and maintaining project cost control.
