Job Title: Sr. Mechanical engineer
Location: Saratoga Springs, NY and Glen Falls, NY (Onsite)
Duration: 6-12 Months
Years of Experience: 6 Yrs.

- Quality assurance and/or engineering concepts and tools, including but not limited to inspection, measurement, test methods, process validation, DOE, and comprehensive equipment operation procedures
- Protocols and Validation Reports, Exposure to CIP programming
- Experience with MDR, Risk Documents (PFMEAs)
Job Summary:
- Plan, organize, and control increased productivity projects from conceptual stages through production cycles, to optimize profit and meet marketing, financial, and corporate growth objectives.
- Investigate current operations practices and scope, develop and implement changes that will improve operational productivity, and provide subject matter expertise.
Major Responsibilities:
- Analyze, review, and recommend technological solutions and innovative techniques to reduce expenses and improve cost structure while maintaining or improving quality.
- Lead various scale projects from concept to realization involving individuals from multiple departments and disciplines.
- Develop large-scale project plans that include action steps, schedules, etc., to enhance the ability to deliver quality projects on time and within budget.
- Perform complex assignments to develop new and/or enhance existing procedures and conduct training, when appropriate, on quality assurance and/or engineering concepts and tools, including but not limited to inspection, measurement, test methods, process validation, DOE, and comprehensive equipment operation procedures.
- Subject matter expert associated with content, processes, and procedures.
- Apply functional knowledge to the design and customization of workflow systems that provide seamless integration.
- Be aware of industry standards and understand cost-benefit analysis to justify tasks/projects.
- Provided specialized expertise to the company through project, account, and people management, statistical analysis, inspections, and validation activities.
- Weekly on-site support for the next 6 months (minimum)
Strong programming skillset:
- Electrical / Automation Experience
- Exposure to CIP programming.
- Technical Writing
- Protocols and Validation Reports
- Design Validation Reports
Experience with:
- MDR, Risk Documents (PFMEAs)
- Troubleshooting both mechanical and electrical systems
- This machine was designed and built entirely in-house with no external support
- Work with manufacturing personnel for training and validation builds
- Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline.
