Job Description:
- A Zuora Revenue Implementation Consultant plays a pivotal role in deploying and optimizing Zuora's revenue recognition solutions for organizations.
- This position bridges the gap between a company's financial operations and technical teams, ensuring that revenue processes align with business objectives and comply with accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Design and Implementation:
- Lead the end-to-end implementation and configuration of the Zuora Revenue system to meet revenue recognition needs under standards like ASC 606.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into effective Zuora Revenue configurations.
- Configure and customize the Zuora platform to support complex revenue scenarios, including revenue grouping, recognition rules, and contract amendments.
System Management and Support:
- Manage and maintain the Zuora Revenue system, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve revenue-related issues, working closely with technical teams as needed.

Integration and Data Management:
- Support technical integrations with CRM (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics) and ERP (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Workday) systems.

- Conduct system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate configurations and customizations.

Required Qualifications and Skills:
Educational Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Certification in Zuora Revenue is mandatory.
Professional Experience:
- 8 of experience in implementing and configuring Zuora Revenue solutions.
- Strong knowledge of revenue recognition standards (e.g., ASC 606, IFRS 15).
- Experience in managing end-to-end implementation projects, including requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in configuring Zuora Revenue functionalities, including revenue grouping, performance obligation setup, standalone selling price setup, and contract modifications.
- Familiarity with data integration tools and techniques, including ETL processes and APIs.
- Experience with CRM and ERP systems integration.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Accounting certification such as CPA is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience with other Zuora modules like Zuora Billing, Zuora Collect, or Zuora CPQ.
