Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Daycare professional to join our team. Duties
- Supervise and engage with children in daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Implement age-appropriate educational programs that promote learning and development.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages social interaction and cooperation among children.
- Manage behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques.
- Provide care for infants and toddlers, including diaper changes, feeding, and nap supervision.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the daycare space to create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
- Administer first aid when necessary and maintain accurate records of incidents or accidents.
- Collaborate with other staff members to develop individualized plans for children with special needs or behavioral challenges.
Experience
- Previous experience working with students or children in a daycare or educational setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with early childhood education principles is highly desirable.
- Experience in behavior management techniques to support children's emotional needs.
- Knowledge of first aid procedures is beneficial; certification is a plus.
- Experience in special education or caregiving for children with diverse needs is an advantage.
- A background in infant and/or toddler care is essential for this role.

Pay: $13.50 - $15.50 per hour
