Peerless is seeking a Part-Time Business Development /Regional Manager supporting the Peerless Innovation Center (PIC) with focus on Naval Surface Warfare Centers (NSWC), particularly NSWC Crane. The PIC is a fast-growing business unit with exciting projects supporting the warfighters around the world. We integrate and modernize C5ISR systems, develop, prototype and sustain Navy and Marine Corps systems, as well as deliver mission IT to enhance warfighting effectiveness, and advance Navy and Marine Corps customer missions in direct and impactful ways.
The Business Development /Regional Manager is a Senior-Level, part-time, NSWC Crane Subject Matter Expert who can provide strategic insights of the Crane enterprise and mission, knowledge of requirements forecasts, and Crane Stakeholder points of contact pertaining to current and future Navy solicitations and initiatives. SME support includes any and all relevant knowledge and support regarding strategic missions, special programs, workforce needs, mission changes, and the Crane information technology, electronic warfare, and business operations environments. This person is responsible for helping identify and assist with captures to include the proposed solution, potential contract vehicles and will participate in the development of:

· Price to Win Strategies and Design to Price
· Win Strategies
· Value Propositions
Duties will include:
· Communicate with VPs, Portfolio Directors, and their teams, as well as assigned Capture Managers.
· Coalesce with PIC team members, including operational leadership and SMEs, to build and execute call plans to position Peerless for successful pursuits.
· Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., subject and technical matter experts, functional leads, and Program Managers) and with external partners to sustain operational excellence, resolve conflicts, and result in successful bids and successful execution of contract wins.
· Support Peerless growth culture.
· Gather, assess, and validate customer requirements by working closely with Program Managers; and identify related needs and constraints that influence winning solution.
· Assess probable competition and evaluate relative strengths and threats.
· Translate requirements into a robust win strategy and identify strategies with strong value proposition.
· Identify gaps and help mitigate risks.
· Support the development of teaming agreements and strategic alliances.
Requirements
· Bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of related experience; four (4) years of relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
· Active relationships with the NAVSEA community, including NSWC decision makers.
· Experience with the NSWC Crane market
· Understanding of US Navy programs, initiatives, and trends related to Naval Surface Warfare in the areas of C3I, ISR to include Airborne/Maritime/Expeditionary Electronic Warfare Systems, EO/IR systems, etc.
· Experience and understanding of the DoD Acquisition process
· Ability to constructively interact at the highest levels of both the customer and corporate levels.
· Excellent interpersonal, problem solving, and business acumen, as well as excellent communication (oral and written) skills.
· Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
· Ability to travel regularly to key company and customer locations.
· DOD Secret is required with ability to achieve Top Secret. Top Secret is a plus.
