Summary
We are seeking an accomplished Business Systems Analyst specializing in video engineering to join our IT team. This role bridges the gap between technical solutions and business needs, focusing on video operations, systems management, and performance improvement to meet organizational goals.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document requirements for video engineering projects.
- Design, develop, and implement system solutions in partnership with IT and video engineering teams.
- Identify opportunities to optimize video engineering workflows and recommend improvements.
- Analyze video performance metrics to deliver actionable insights using data analysis tools.
- Manage project timelines and ensure deliverables are completed according to schedule.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for system processes, configurations, and user guides.
Required Skills
- 10 years of experience in business systems analysis, with a focus in agile software development and delivery.
- Expertise in the video engineering domain.
- Prior experience working with software development teams that used the following tech stack: Java, JavaScript/Angular/React, Cloud (AWS), mobile applications (Android, iOS). Any hands-on experience with these technologies is a plus but not required.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills for interpreting complex data.
- Strong communication abilities for effective collaboration across teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Knowledge of cloud-based video processing, streaming technologies, and video compression standards is desirable. Certifications in Business Analysis or Project Management are a bonus.
