Peerstar is currently hiring for Recovery Support Specialists. Recovery Specialists work with individuals struggling with mental health and/or substance. The primary function of a recovery specialist is to assist individuals in setting and obtaining personal recovery oriented goals. Recovery specialists also support individuals in becoming more independent and take a more active role in the community.
Minimum Requirements
- Self Identify as having a Substance Use Disorder
- Have at least eighteen months, in a continuous manner, of personal, lived, recovery experience
- In the last 36 months have at least 12 months of employment, volunteer work
- Have a Bachelor's Degree OR High School Diploma OR GED
- Ability to use an iPad for documentation purposes
