The Sr. Technical Analyst, HR Systems oversees technical aspects of the Workday HCM system and provides technology support for the HR and Payroll Organization. Serves as the HR Technology liaison between both technical and functional areas of the HR (e.g. HCM, Recruiting, Benefits, Compensation, etc.) and Payroll business, and other internal and external clients to ensure effective definition of Total Systems Solutions and delivery of Workday HR Technology applications and integrations across the different Domains or Channel Technology Ecosystems.
What you will do :
Owns all aspects of Workday HCM system including configuration, data integrity, testing of system changes, system upgrades and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities.
Drive innovation and optimization by delivering Workday automation strategies that increase the value to stakeholders and reduce redundant processes.
Oversee Workday releases and enhancements to include prioritization, functional design, documentation, testing, training, implementation, and support model design.
Oversee Workday system related governance controls and other related compliance processes. Ensure the proper security administration, configuration and system processes are in place and appropriately maintained and compliant internal and external audit standards.
Consult with functional leaders and SMEs in HR and Payroll to design, develop, and implement Workday technology solutions that increase operational efficiency, maintain compliance, and positively impact customer experience for HR, candidates, employees, managers and business leaders.
Provides technical support for Workday, e.g., researching and resolving problems or issues with business processes; recommends alternate solutions. Troubleshoots any system issues and ensures appropriate parties are involved to resolve issue.
Complete special projects and other duties as assigned independently.
Who you are :
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
10 years of experience with Workday HCM Suite a must
Experience / expertise with multiple Workday HCM modules, e.g. Recruiting, Payroll, etc. a plus
10 years of experience working with technical stack – Workday Objects, Calculated Fields, Workday business process, Security configuration, Workday integration tool set, Reporting, etc.
Experience leading end-to-end HR systems projects including gathering requirements, system and business process configuration, design, and development of integrations, running tests, and implementation.
Must possess strong technical knowledge (e.g., SQL, Workday integrations and EIBs) and specialize in HR systems and processes.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Ability to present and communicate with influence and confidence to a technical and non-technical audience.
Ability to work independently, but also work as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
Possesses business acumen with excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
Ability to develop solutions to complex problems using expertise, creativity, and sound judgment.
