Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and analytical Vice President to lead the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function across our vertically integrated real estate investment firm. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of FP&A for corporate, investment, development, residential, hospitality, and construction assets, providing strategic financial insights and guidance to support the firm's growth and performance objectives. This role requires a leader with deep experience in real estate finance, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
Responsibilities :
- FP&A Leadership : Oversee the FP&A function across all business units, including corporate, investment, development, residential, hospitality, and construction assets, ensuring alignment with the firm's strategic objectives.
- Budgeting & Forecasting : Lead the annual budgeting process and develop long-term financial forecasts for all business units, incorporating market trends, operational performance, and strategic initiatives.
- Financial Modeling : Develop and maintain complex financial models to analyze current and future financial performance, supporting key business decisions and investment strategies.
- Performance Analysis : Monitor and analyze financial performance across all assets, identifying key trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Provide actionable insights to senior leadership to drive business performance.
- Reporting : Prepare and present detailed financial reports to senior management, board members, and other stakeholders, ensuring clarity and accuracy in financial communication.
- Strategic Planning : Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement financial strategies that support the firm's growth objectives, including capital allocation, risk management, and investment decisions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with various departments, including operations, development, construction, and asset management, to ensure financial plans are aligned with business goals and initiatives.
- Risk Management : Identify and assess financial risks across all business units, implementing strategies to mitigate potential impacts on the firm's financial performance.
- Process Improvement : Continuously evaluate and improve FP&A processes, tools, and systems to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness in financial planning and analysis.
- Team Development : Lead and mentor a team of FP&A professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and excellence.
