Key Responsibilities
Leasing & Marketing
- Manage the leasing process, from lead generation through lease execution, to maintain strong occupancy rates.
- Develop and execute marketing strategies, including online platforms, social media, and outreach campaigns.
- Update and oversee online property listings and monitor lead-to-lease conversion rates.
- Conduct unit tours, process applications, and facilitate resident interviews, move-ins, and renewals.
- Stay informed about market trends and maintain competitive marketing action plans.
Resident Retention
- Address resident concerns to maintain high satisfaction levels and foster a welcoming community atmosphere.
- Plan and promote resident engagement initiatives to enhance retention.
- Conduct regular follow-ups on resident inquiries and requests to strengthen relationships.
Operational Support
- Collaborate with other team members to conduct property inspections, ensure unit readiness, and monitor maintenance requests.
- Maintain and verify records in property management software, such as Yardi or Entrata.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws and other applicable regulations.
Team Collaboration
- Support and mentor newer team members in leasing and marketing efforts.
- Coordinate schedules and workloads to optimize team efficiency.
- Communicate team goals and leasing updates to the Property Manager.
Financial Oversight
- Assist in rent collection, minimizing delinquencies and preparing reports on property performance.
- Audit lease files and resident accounts for accuracy.
Required Skills & Experience
- 1-2 years of property management experience, including leasing, marketing, and resident relations.
- Proficiency in property management software (Yardi, Entrata) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and industry regulations.
- Experience in managing or collaborating within small teams is a plus.
