About the Role :

As a Property Manager at Paperbox Lofts, your main goal will be to ensure the efficient and profitable operation of the property. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of property management, including leasing, tenant relations, maintenance, and financial performance. Your role will be crucial in maintaining a high level of tenant satisfaction and retention, while also maximizing the property's revenue potential. By effectively managing the property, you will contribute to creating a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable living environment for our residents.

Minimum Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in property management, preferably in affordable housing.
  • Strong knowledge of lease agreements, fair housing laws, and building inspections.
  • Proficiency in property management software, such as Yardi Systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with tenants, vendors, and team members.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Certification in Property Management or Real Estate.
  • Experience in real estate development and project management.
  • Knowledge of local and state regulations related to affordable housing.
  • Experience with lease administration and financial analysis.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
  • Responsibilities :

  • Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, rent collection, maintenance, and tenant relations.
  • Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to attract and retain tenants.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards.
  • Oversee the leasing process, including screening potential tenants, negotiating lease agreements, and conducting move-in and move-out inspections.
  • Prepare and manage the property's budget, ensuring financial goals are met and expenses are controlled.
  • Skills :

    In this role, your skills in affordable housing, property management, real estate development, lease agreements, Yardi Systems, fair housing, building inspections, real estate, and lease administration will be essential. You will use your knowledge of affordable housing regulations and lease agreements to ensure compliance and fair treatment of tenants. Your expertise in property management software, such as Yardi Systems, will enable you to efficiently manage leasing, rent collection, and maintenance processes. Additionally, your understanding of real estate development will be valuable in identifying opportunities for property improvement and expansion. Your strong communication and interpersonal skills will be crucial in building positive relationships with tenants, vendors, and team members, ensuring a smooth operation of the property.
