Peg Taylor Center for Adult Day Health is looking for a part time Registered Nurse to join our team!
2 Days/Week 8am-3pm
Days open to discussion. Examples are Monday/Tuesday, Thursday/Friday, Monday/Friday
Pay: $40.00 - $44.00 per hour
Job Summary:
· Assists participants and their families with the management of participant health conditions and related needs.
· Conducts initial and ongoing assessments, designs care plans, and provides nursing treatments.
· Provides oversight for the personal care provided to participants by the center’s Program Assistants and staff. Coordinates medication-related services with the Center’s Pharmacist.
· Assess and address the needs of program participants to support their overall health, safety, independence, and wellbeing.
The Peg Taylor Center for Adult Day Health Care is a close-knit, uplifting weekday health and social services program that works to improve the well-being and quality of life of older adults, as well as younger adults with disabilities. Our model of support offers a uniquely positive opportunity for a caring RN to make a difference in the lives of adults in our community. The RN plays a vital role on the Peg Taylor Center’s Interdisciplinary Team (IDT), which also includes social workers, physical, occupational and speech therapists, therapeutic activity coordinators, and dieticians, as well as a consulting physician and pharmacist. With weekly IDT meetings and regular teamwork among staff, this role provides a unique opportunity to ensure that participants’ needs are truly being met.
TB testing required.
