Experience working with personal injury cases is required;
Juris doctorate degree with experience working as a plaintiff's personal injury attorney;
Ability to locate and review state court dockets and federal dockets on Pacer;
Experience with NY or Florida cases preferred;
Ability to assign venue-specific case values after appropriate training
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professional, quality legal work product
Highly effective project management skills with the ability to be self-directed to finalize case reviews
Ability to speak with attorneys regarding case facts and procedural historv, and to identifv key information and documents needed to finalize review.
Full-Time position at our Long Island office or at the Deerfield Beach, FL office.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive analyses of funded case portfolios, evaluating settlement prospects.
- Review case files and funding agreements to identify and address any discrepancies or issues.
- Provide insights and recommendations to Servicing management to optimize portfolio performance.
- Maintain a strong understanding of personal injury law to enhance the company’s case analysis and decision-making processes.
- Assist in resolving disputes related to funding agreements and collections, if/when needed, by providing well-reasoned recommendations to internal stakeholders regarding strategies and resolution options.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited school.
- Active and in-good-standing membership with NY & FL State Bar.
- Approximately five years of experience in personal injury litigation and pre-settlement case management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on strategic outcomes.
- Proficiency in using legal research tools and case management software.
- Familiarity with third-party funding agreements or legal finance is highly desirable.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Case review includes review of the handling attorney, venue, case facts and background searches
- Additional online research, including Google and social media searches
- Utilize a CRM database to enter underwriter reviews and enter advances
- Attend underwriting meetings weekly to discuss cases as a team, and review prepared underwriter guidelines for specific case types
- Other duties as assigned
