PI Litigation Paralegal Servicing Specialist

The Role

Hate Pleadings? Love Cases? The role of a Servicing Specialist involves overseeing the post-funding aspects of cases within a Servicing department. This specialist is responsible for the review and assessment of the status of cases, identifying challenges or delays, gathering/providing updates by contacting law firms, understanding/utilizing our case management system, and conducting diligent research when necessary as well as contribution to the overall efficiency of case management. This is an in-office position only.

Key responsibilities:

· Act as a primary point of contact between our company and law firms handling our cases

· Work closely with legal professionals to ensure the smooth progression of funded cases

· Develop an understanding of our case management system and utilize it to track and update case information

· Monitor the progress of cases by regularly communicating with law firms to obtain the latest developments, court dates, and any other pertinent information related to cases ensuring accuracy and consistency

· Conduct thorough research to gather additional case-related information

· Stay up to date on updates

Qualifications:

· Proven experience as a Personal Injury paralegal for 3-5 years

· Strong understanding of personal injury legal processes

· Detail-oriented, exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities

· Professional work ethic

· Effective communication skills – written, phone, in person – for interacting with clients and legal professionals

· Proven ability to set and exceed your objectives

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

· Bilingual is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $63,000.00 per year
