Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and experience with QuickBooks Online and a construction atmosphere. We are a fast-paced construction company that is seeking a financial professional with expertise in construction industry accounting practices, who can accurately and efficiently manage a high volume of transactions and complex project costs within a rapidly changing environment, requiring strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in QuickBooks online. This role is essential in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing valuable insights into the financial health of our company.
Duties
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and receivable
- Efficient accounts payable processing
- Payroll processing
- Detailed project cost tracking and producing budgets
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records
- Prepare and maintain financial statements
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks Online, for record-keeping
- Assist in governmental accounting processes as required
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
- Maintain organized financial files and documentation for audits
- Financial reporting
- Collaborate with management to analyze financial data and support budgeting processes
Requirements
- Proficient in 10 key typing for efficient data entry
- Experience with accounting software -QuickBooks Online and Microsoft 365 a must!
- Strong understanding of bank reconciliation processes and financial concepts
- Familiarity with governmental accounting practices is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills!
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders
- Have a clean back ground check as candidate well have to be very trustworthy to be accepted.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
