Service Manager – GSA Facilities – Yuma, AZ (Contingent on Award)
Summary:
This role involves managing tradespeople, staff positions, and subcontractors as needed. The position typically handles challenging projects and performs a variety of Operations & Maintenance (O&M) functions. Additional duties may be assigned.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day operations of the contract
- Attend weekly coordination meetings, as needed
- Serve as Environmental Control Specialist, responsible for tracking, documentation, and disposal of hazardous materials produced while performing preventive maintenance, identifying when new or revised permits are needed, and managing the Certifications and Permits program as required by the contract.
- Ten (10) years of experience in each of the following:
- As a technician in HVAC and Mechanical Systems
- Quality control inspections of building systems and equipment.
- Current trade certification in either HVAC or Mechanical Systems.
- Five (5) years’ experience as a manager of service technicians and with contracts of similar size and scope.
- Excellent organization skills
- Capable of working in a fast paced, changing priority work environment.
- Project Management Professional Certification or Certified Assistant Project Manager Certification
A background check and drug screen will be conducted for this position.
