General Responsibilities

Job Skills / Requirements

We are looking for hardworking and adaptable Housekeeping Associate to join our team in a fast-paced, rotational role. This position requires flexibility, physical stamina, and cross-training in housekeeping, day porter, kitchen/dining hall, laundry, and boathouse attendant. During high-peak seasons, housekeeping will be the primary focus. All candidates will be trained in all areas but are not limited to assigned duties.

Schedule

• Full-time
• Day and Night shifts available
• Days: Monday-Friday OR Tuesday-Saturday OR Thursday - Monday
• Hours: 8AM - 4:30PM OR 9AM - 5:30PM OR 10AM - 6:30PM OR 4PM - 12:30AM OR 5PM - 1:30AM
  
  

Salary: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Specific Duties / Essential Functions

Housekeeping Duties (Primary Focus During Peak Seasons)

• Change bed linens and wash/dry/fold laundry
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors
• Dust and wipe down surfaces
• Clean and sanitize restrooms
• Empty trash and replace liners
• Restock cleaning and hygiene supplies
• Climb stairs and bend/ stand for extended periods
  
  

Day Porter Duties (Rotational)

• Service exterior areas, including trash removal and leaf blowing
• Clean and restock exterior restrooms
• Drive through campus to service high-traffic areas
• Maintain cleanliness of walkways and common spaces
• Perform End of Shift Inspections (EOS) following company guidelines, ensuring cleanliness and safety standards are met at the end of each shift.
  
  

Kitchen/Dining Hall Duties (Rotational)

• Maintain dining hall cleanliness during peak breakfast/lunch hours
• Assist with event setups and cleanups
• Clean tables and vacuum as needed
• Service restrooms (clean and restock)
• Mop restrooms as needed
• Leaf blow outside dining areas and clean exterior tables
• Deep clean dining hall during non-peak hours
  
  

Laundry Attendant Duties (Rotational)

• Maintain laundry room within safety compliance
• Wash, dry, and fold multiple loads of towels, bed sheets, and duvets (sizes ranging from twin to California king)
• Clean and maintain the laundry room
• Remove dirty linen from rooms
• Assist with housekeeping tasks as needed
  
  

Boathouse Attendant Duties (Rotational)

• Clean and restock locker rooms, restrooms, and showers
• Clean offices and mop floors
• Wipe down gym equipment, dust, and vacuum as needed
• Clean and maintain exterior perimeter
• Replenish towels
  
  

Skills & Experience

• While not mandatory, proficiency in English is highly recommended to perform the responsibilities of this role effectively. We are committed to creating an inclusive work environment that values diversity."
• Open availability: Overtime work and schedule adjustments may be needed/necessary. Holiday work may also be required.
• Prior housekeeping, janitorial, or related experience is preferred but not required.
• Willingness to be cross-trained and rotate between different duties as needed
• Valid driver’s license required for driving golf cart
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Physically able to be on your feet during an entire shift; walking, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, and crouching.
• Must be able to lift 35 lbs., and carry 12 lbs. backpack vacuum, as needed.

Other Requirements

• Must provide proof of work authorization and complete an I9 and E-Verify process.
• Must complete pre-employment background check (if applicable to worksite).
• Must complete pre-employment drug screen (if applicable to worksite).
• Valid California driver’s license required for driving golf cart.
