Specific Duties / Essential Functions
- Directly oversees a team on a day-to-day basis.
- Direct activities of all personnel assigned assuring all maintenance is completed in compliance with established company policies and procedures.
- Promote a culture of safety by ensuring work is performed within company safety guidelines.
- Train personnel.
- Perform inspections and communicate all findings to the appropriate manager assigned.
- Ensure that personnel are using proper / appropriate cleaning products and tools.
- Ensure that personnel are following dress code guidelines.
- Respond quickly to all emergency situations.
- Assist staff with janitorial duties.
- Submits supply inventory to the manager.
- Must keep janitor’s closet neat and orderly and maintain equipment in good working order.
- Proficiency in English will enhance your ability to collaborate and communicate with colleagues and clients, ensuring smooth operations.
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
- Open availability: Overtime work and schedule adjustments may be needed/necessary. Holiday work may also be required.
- Applicants must provide proof of work authorization and complete an I9 and E-Verify process.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is important for effective communication with team members and external customers. We value clear communication in English as it enhances understanding in all interactions.
- Physically able to be on your feet during an entire shift; walking, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, and crouching.
- Must be able to lift 35 lbs., carry 12 lbs. backpack vacuum, as needed.
- Good hygiene skills are required.
