Summary
We are looking for a strong Team player to join our Team!
As a Mover on our Team, you will support the Lead Mover/Warehouse Manager and Stager(s) with staging in the San Francisco Bay Area. This position is located in our San Rafael warehouse and includes staging in Marin, SF, Napa, Sonoma, Mid-Peninsula and East Bay. This role will involve a high degree of time in the warehouse as well as on job sites installing and removing furniture. Applicants must be able to lift more than 100 pounds, move up and down stairs and work full days of manual labor. The hours of operation are normally between 7:30am-5:00 pm with the possibility of early mornings, late evenings and weekend work.
Job Functions and Expectations
Warehouse/Stage
- Works closely with the Lead Mover/Warehouse Manager and Stager assigned to each install.
- Communicate professionally in both verbally and in writing.
- Review stage plan provided to know where large furniture will be placed in the stage.
- Prepares and protects all items to ensure they are ready for deployment to stage.
- Communicate arrival and departure of warehouse and job site to Lead Mover/Warehouse Manager and Stager.
- Provide exceptional customer service while safely moving inventory into or out of properties.
- Assist Lead Mover/Warehouse Manager with truck inspections.
- Keep all warehouses and offices clean, plus repair furniture as needed.
Qualifications
- Current driver's license, good driving record and reliable transportation.
- Requires physical abilities and the ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
- English speaking.
- Prior moving experience is a plus but not required, we are willing to train the right Teammate.
- Strong sense of how to maximize space and keep a large quantity of product organized and accessible for easy deployment in and out of a truck and/or warehouse.
- Maintain a positive attitude with a proven ability to succeed.
