What are the responsibilities and job description for the Heavy Equipment Operator position at PEI Contractors?

PEI Contractors is seeking a full time equipment operator experienced to join our team. As an Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy equipment to complete construction and maintenance projects. This is a full-time position with opportunities for career growth.

The following are the minimum qualification requirements:

Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record. CDL license is a plus.

MA Hoisting License 2A
DOT Medical Card

OSHA 10 hr Safety Training

5 years’ experience in site work or road work operating excavators, loaders , dozers and other equipment including excavating near underground utilities and structures.

Must have the ability to lift, push or pull 50 pounds, climb heavy equipment, bend and kneel and to traverse uneven terrain. Job includes work out of the equipment as needed to complete the tasks with fellow crew members.
Ability to work 40 hours per week including weekends as needed on occasion
Ability to commute to job sites within 50 miles /- of Bellingham, MA
Ability to occasionally stay out of Town when required (Per Diem provided)
