Position Overview
The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for leading the recruitment and hiring efforts for key positions within the organization. This role involves developing and executing strategic sourcing plans, managing the end-to-end recruitment process, and partnering with hiring managers to attract top talent. The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a critical role in shaping the workforce and ensuring that the organization is equipped with the right talent to achieve its goals.
Essential Job Functions
- Manages the full cycle recruitment process of candidates, including but not limited to, coordination of job openings, development of job descriptions, phone and in-person interviews, background checks, candidate travel, relocation, reference checks, offer letters, and serving as a liaison to the Hiring Manager
- Develops and implements innovative sourcing strategies to attract high quality candidates
- Builds and maintains a strong talent pipeline through networking, direct sourcing, and engaging with potential candidates
- Partners and develops good working relationships with Hiring Managers and Department Heads to ensure job requirements and expectations are clearly understood, and candidates are assessed against the appropriate criteria
- Follows up with respective Hiring Managers and candidates in a timely manner to ensure an excellent candidate experience
- Builds applicant sources by using LinkedIn, Indeed, researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, job fairs, media and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits
- Manages the onboarding process for new hires, including but not limited to, collecting documentation, I-9 verification, and maintaining records to ensure compliance
- Ensures legal requirements impacting the recruitment process (I-9 verification, background, etc.) are met
- Manages the immigration process by working with the Hiring Manager and Legal on employer sponsorship activities
- Trains new Hiring Managers on recruitment and interviewing best practices
- Communicates and demonstrates support for HR decisions
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks and participating in professional organizations
- Performs other duties as assigned
Education & Experience
Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, human resources, or related field
- Typically requires 4 years of experience in related field
Preferred or Specialized
- Prior recruitment experience
- Prior HRIS experience

Salary Range:
- $75,300- $85,100 per year
- This range is based on the expected level of experience and skills for this position. Final compensation will depend on individual qualifications.
