Systems Administrator - Storage / Patching

We are hiring for a Systems Administration role focused on Storage and Server Patching with a High Profile International Bank in midtown Manhattan (hybrid onsite 2-3 days per week).

This is an immediate hire, full-time position where you will provide daily support, administration and engineering of new projects.

In summary, you will:

• Build, support, maintain, update, patch, and troubleshoot the server infrastructure.
• Manage system backups and backup infrastructure
• Patch servers, laptops, desktops, and reporting on status to management.
• Perform daily monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, server infrastructure, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs.
• Daily support of VMware, Exchange, Windows server infrastructure including, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP.
• Contribute to and maintain system hardening standards.
• Monitor and verify the integrity and availability of all server infrastructure, server resources, systems, and cloud services.
• Configure / add new services as necessary.
• Liaise and support Applications Development team with infrastructure requirements.

Requirements include:

• Strong hands-on Systems Administration / Server Engineering experience.
• BigFix, SCCM, InTune Backup & Restore, Windows 2019/2022, M365, Active Directory, Group Policy, Powershell, DNS, DHCP, systems monitoring, VMware vSphere, SQL Server, Microsoft Exchange On-Prem and Cloud.
• Knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols.
• Completed Bachelor’s degree with Computer Science or related quantitative (math, engineering, sciences...) course of study
• Microsoft and/or VMware certifications preferred
