Join our team as a Part-Time Receptionist in the SAU office!
Home to more than 1600 students, the Pelham School District is comprised of three schools serving Pre-K through 12th grade students. About the Position:
- Greet and assist the staff, parents and the general public;
- Answer incoming calls, screen them for proper distribution and/or take accurate messages;
- Sort and distribute incoming mail;
- Prepare and process outgoing mail;
- Provide clerical support to the Business Administrator;
- Maintain insurance certificate records;
- Order and maintain office supplies for the SAU office;
- Maintain the utilities database;
- Maintain accurate contact list for use of tennis courts – including updates for the access code;
- Serve as the backup for processing criminal records checks;
- Generates Student Activities payments and supports for all schools;
- Processes payments for Athletic program officials/referees through Arbiter Pay; and,
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma equivalent;
- Secretarial or clerical, customer service and computer experience preferred;
- Applicants will be subjected to a criminal background check as required by law (RSA 189:13-a); and
- Pre-Employment Medical Examination signed by licensed physician indicating that the employee is medically capable of performing designated assignment (RSA 200:36 and 275:3).

Additional Knowledge, Skill and Abilities:
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Finance and Google software;
- Knowledge of SAU policies and procedures;
- Ability to maintain administrative, fiscal, and general records;
- Skills in oral and written communication, operating office equipment, and working with the public;
- Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work; and,
- Able to work independently, solve problems, and recommend solutions.
