About Pelican Bay Foundation

The Foundation manages all common areas, including two beach facilities and two private beachfront restaurants, two racquets’ facilities, two boardwalks, the Fitness Center and Wellness Studio, the Community Center, and approximately 90 acres of land.
About the Position
We are seeking a full-time Project Manager who will be responsible for the success of a variety of high-level projects, including tracking the Foundation’s Strategic Plan progression. In this role, you will oversee the execution of projects from inception to completion, and oversee projects currently launched. You will have the opportunity to engage and interact with the Board, committees, senior leadership and peers on a variety of projects; collaborate with the team to lead efforts to allocate individuals for projects and create the timelines for project completion. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining project documentation to successfully complete project goals and manage any changes in project goals to ensure timelines are not adversely impacted by those changes. This position reports directly to the Vice President with a dotted line to the President.
What you'll do
- Defines project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Defines individual tasks and resources necessary for completion of project and ensures availability and allocation of resources.
- Creates and maintains project documentation. Develops detailed project plans to monitor and track progress.
- Coordinates with other departments to ensure all aspects of project are compatible with goals.
- Tracks project performance to analyze the successful completion of short, medium, and long-term goals and measures project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
- Effectively manages change when necessary to meet project goals.
- Prepares and delivers regular project status reports to stakeholders, including senior leadership.
- Maintains detailed documentation of project progress, decisions, and changes.
- Conducts post-project evaluation and identifies successful and unsuccessful project elements.
- Effectively manage and collaborate with internal and external clients, including vendor partners.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 4-6 years of experience in project management/related experience required.
- Demonstrated organizational and time management skills.
- Well-developed oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving and ability to diplomatically resolve conflict.
- Proficiency with project management software and tools, MS Project preferred, MS Office, Share Point.
- Basic financial management skills, including budgeting and resource allocation.
- Knowledge of risk management and mitigation strategies
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, Information Technology, or relevant field required.
- Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)-PMI preferred.
