We are seeking a charismatic and upbeat Fitness Attendant to be part of our team dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of members. As a Fitness Attendant, you will be responsible for checking members in, answering phone calls, and managing court reservations for tennis players. What You’ll Do
- Facility opening and closing
- Ensure everyone who enters is properly check-in, and guest registration completed with appropriate fitness attire
- Answer phone calls and forward calls to proper locations
- Assist members with registration and detail information regarding classes and other activities conducted at the facility
- Provide basic assistance to members on how to properly operate the fitness equipment – not responsible for designing exercise programs
- Assist in maintenance of fitness equipment, ensure all equipment is clean and operational
Requirements
Skills & Experience
- Demonstrated successful experience of 1-3 year in which the primary responsibility is providing courteous and responsive services to customers, guests, or members in a customer-related organization
- Must be an effective communicator and an active listener when dealing with members, guests, co-workers, managers/supervisors, and inter-departmental staff
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally lifting up to 40 pounds
Education
- Minimum High school diploma/GED or equivalent
- Any combination of education, training, and work experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities as described
