LOCATION : ONSITE IN CHALMETTE, LOUISIANA.
POSITION SUMMARY
Capable of performing work as assigned and mentored by a Lead Process Engineer or Sr. Process Engineer. Capable of assisting with the modeling and design of process equipment for the Oil and Gas (upstream, midstream, and downstream) and Chemical industries by applying principles and technology of chemistry, physics, and chemical engineering. Capable of executing pressure safety release valve (PSV) revalidation.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
- Develop understanding of client, industry, regulatory, and other guidelines, codes, etc.
- Work toward having the ability to develop engineering calculations using scope and criteria provided, with minimal direction.
- Work toward having the ability for designing systems.
- Prepare design calculations as directed for criteria provided using spreadsheets and simulation software (HYSYS and Aspen Plus).
- Assist in the preparation of process engineering studies and reports.
- Conduct field trips to existing plants to gather operating data and equipment information.
- Prepare PFDs and heat and material balances.
- Work toward providing primary communication of discipline specific information to the project manager.
- Perform other technical assignments as directed.

Education : Bachelor's Degree (four-year college or technical school) : Required
Experience : 5 years
Computer Skills : MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Adobe, Aspen HYSYS
