What are the responsibilities and job description for the Beach Greeter position at Pelican Landing Community Association?
- Responsible for greeting Beach goers as an Ambassador of Pelican Landing, answering questions, and performing crowd control for shuttle boats to and from the Island.
- Organize guests and residents by first come first serve basis in waiting area
- Responsible for the Docks and waiting area free from trash and clutter
- Assist shuttle boats in docking if needed
- Reports directly to the Beach & Marina Supervisor
- Adheres to Pelican Landing Operating Procedures
- Adheres to ALL Safety Policies and reports any unsafe condition to MGMT.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Obtain 1st Aid/CPR/AED certification within 1 year of hire date
- Great Customer Service relations skills
- Friendly personality and attitude
- Professional appearance and demeanor required at ALL times
- Able to lift 20 pounds
- Ability to work entire shift outdoors in the heat, humidity, and natural elements
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations
- Beach/Boat Operations operate 7 days a week and 364 days a year
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
