Job Description:
We’re looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager to take charge of all maintenance operations for a multifamily housing property. This role is hands-on and requires a leader who knows how to keep properties in top condition, manage a team, and handle on-call emergencies when needed.
Pay:
- $24.00 - $27.00 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- On-call as needed
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Guide, train, and supervise maintenance staff
- Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors
- Work closely with the property manager on larger repair or renovation projects.
- Inspect properties to diagnose repair and renovation needs and perform final inspections of completed work.
- Create material lists for jobs and ensure the materials runner has everything needed for purchase.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager for multifamily housing or a similar role.
- Knowledge of renovations and general maintenance for multifamily properties.
- Hands-on experience with plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and electrical systems.
- Good communication skills (both verbal and written); bilingual in Spanish is preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Reliable transportation
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Availability for on-call duties.
