The role of the Contact Center Team Lead is to support their team’s daily operations and performance standards, while also performing a variety of member service-related activities. They will promote increasing production and excellent member service consistent with the credit union's mission of enhancing membership by providing safe, competitive, and economically sound products. Meeting deadlines and attention to detail are critical pieces of this position. Contact Center Team Lead must embody Pelican’s Core Values and provide excellent service in all that they do.       A Day in the Life of a Contact Center team lead INCLUDES: Answering member phone calls and providing resolution for the reason for inquiry. Assisting with training of new employees and cross-training other employees in the position. Assisting team members with escalated member calls and requests, account openings, and issue resolution. Actively determining member needs and matching services to improve member retention and credit union growth. Ensuring compliance with all required regulations, procedures, and policies.   Contact Center TEAM LEAD Skills and qualifications include: A high school education or GED. 1 years of experience to include prior call center and financial institution. Excellent oral, written, and telephone communication skills. Ability to collect, analyze and interpret financial data. In depth knowledge of lending policies, products, procedures, and promotions.   Other things you may want to know about this position: Work Schedule Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm Maybe required to work on-call rotation a minimum of one week a month. Travel Travel is rarely necessary for this position. Work Site Location All work will be performed at our beautiful Corporate Campus located at 2675 O’Neal Lane in Baton Rouge, LA.   Why should you join the pelican team?
