Indirect Loan Processor - Lending Operations

The role of the Indirect Loan Processor is responsible for processing indirect loan packages received from authorized franchise auto, power-sports and boat dealers according to established guidelines. Our Indirect Loan Processor will research background information and perform a variety of support duties related to the indirect lending function within the Credit Union. Our Processor must be able to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in fast paced environment and must have a heart for service and a positive attitude! The ideal candidate is a go-getter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for serving others. They should be comfortable working independently and as a contributing member of a team. Meeting deadlines and attention to detail are critical pieces of this position. Our Indirect Loan Processor must embody Pelican’s Core Values and provide excellent service in all that they do.     A Day in the Life of an Indirect Loan Processor INCLUDES: Gathering and verifying background information on indirect loan packages Communicating with dealerships as needed to obtain missing documents for indirect funding packages Understanding and applying new loan products and services in accordance with management direction Maintaining systems and procedures to ensure required documentation is received and maintained appropriately and according to policies and procedures  Completing loan documents including the posting of funds received and disbursing loans when approved   Indirect Loan Processor Skills and qualifications includes: A high school education or GED 3 years of lending or directly related experience. Prior experience with a Credit Union is highly desirable. Excellent oral, written, and telephone communication skills Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and member service skills Knowledge of Federal and State financial institution laws and regulations pertaining to deposit, loan and electronic products and services   Other things you may want to know about this position: Work Schedule Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm Overtime may be required as needed. Travel Travel is rarely necessary for this position.
