The role of the Marketing Manager is to manage and develop the employees, responsibilities, strategies and initiatives of the Marketing Department including project creation and management, campaign implementation, vendor optimization, and brand development. Maintain positive image of the credit union and protect the integrity of the Pelican brand through all delivery channels. They will also support departments and branches in their promotional and communication needs.
A Day in the Life of a Marketing Manager INCLUDES :
- Develop and implement strategic plans while managing the corresponding budget, recommending the purchase of equipment, supplies and marketing materials.
- Ensure regulatory compliance with all work produced or proofed by the Marketing Department.
- Supervise staff and manage all marketing projects, promotions, tasks, and strategies to achieve team performance indicators and organizational goals.
- Deploy digital and traditional marketing strategies.
- Maintain high level proficiency in date mining and member management software and use data analysis to help maximize profitability, optimize ROI, and guide marketing decisions.
- Manage content and video strategy, development, and execution while ensuring branch consistency across all internal and external marketing channels.
- Ensure sponsorship and event requests are analyzed and in line with the department budget.
- Assign, evaluate, and submit press releases, community outreach strategies, and entries for marketing or industry awards to achieve recognition for Pelican.
