What are the responsibilities and job description for the Productions Operation Coordinator position at Pelican?
The work schedule is rotational, requiring coverage across all three shifts: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts. The Production Operations Coordinator will rotate through these shifts to ensure continuous coverage.
SUMMARY
The Production Operations Coordinator will oversee and support key production operations, including documentation management, data analysis, inventory tracking, and process improvements. The Production Operations Coordinator will collaborate effectively with leadership, production teams, and cross-functional departments.
JOB DUTIES
Coordinates and maintains production documentation, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Collects, analyzes, and reports on production, safety, and quality data to support decision-making and process improvements.
Supports production teams by implementing process improvements and identifying areas for increased efficiency.
Oversees inventory tracking for tools, fixtures, and supplies, ensuring availability and proper documentation.
Facilitates production programs and employee engagement initiatives, coordinating activities and tracking participation.
Collaborates with leadership and cross-functional teams to streamline production workflows and enhance operational effectiveness.
Communicates updates, findings, and recommendations to key stakeholders to drive continuous improvement.
Performs additional duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years of general office experience
Good customer service and communication skills
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask
Proficiency in Microsoft 365.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be occasionally required to execute standard physical activities within the facility areas (i.e. stand, walk, sit, use hands/fingers).
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be occasionally required to execute non-standard physical activities within the facility areas (i.e. climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch).
