Your responsibilities
- Portfolio Oversight: Own and manage Pelion’s portfolio valuation model, including leading interactions with external parties for model assumptions updates and audits.
- Reporting: Own Pelion’s reporting processes and documents, leading the production of reporting outputs for both internal and external stakeholders, including quarterly portfolio reporting and monthly financial summaries.
- Data Management and Process Improvement: Collaborate with Pelion’s Investment Team to develop and implement improvements to data collection, data cleaning, and portfolio reporting processes.
- Cashflow Tracking and Liquidity Management: Develop, manage, and improve cashflow models and drive cash management processes and initiatives, acting as intermediary between the Finance & Accounting and Investment Team, and liaison to Pelion’s external financing partners.
- University degree with an outstanding academic track record, preferably in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics or Sciences
- At least 2 years of experience in a Business Analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Science, Data Engineering, Fund Operations, Accounting, or similar role
- Very strong analytical & quantitative skills
- Outstanding proficiency in MS Excel, SQL database management and scripting
- Proficiency in using advanced analytics and business intelligence tools, including Microsoft PowerBI and/or Tableau
- Interest in and enthusiasm for the renewable energy industry (past experience a plus)
- Motivation to continuously learn and improve processes
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively
- Very good proficiency in English, additional languages preferable
