Pella Christian is rooted in the Reformed faith and firmly believe that God is sovereign over all areas of life and learning, including our curricular and co-curricular activities. Recent Professional Development for teachers has focused on Teaching for Transformation, Deeper Learning, Student Support Services, and peer collaboration.
We are seeking highly qualified individuals who are in full agreement with Pella Christian’s Statement of Faith. Pella Christian Grade School and Pella Christian High School are accredited by Christian Schools International (CSI). Applicants must possess or be able to obtain proper licensure/endorsements as described in the job description.

Grade School ESS Teacher – Part Time
Pella Christian Schools is prayerfully seeking applicants for a Part-time English Specific Skills Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. This position includes teaching English specific skills through content areas of Bible or Social Studies to our 3rd-5th Spanish Immersion students. This position is considered to be 50% of a full-time contract and could be combined with our SPARK Coordinator opening to be a full-time position. This is a contractual position from August 1-July 31.

Educational Requirements:
- A Bachelor of Arts in Elementary or Secondary Education
- Hold or have the ability to obtain an Iowa Teaching License
- An endorsement in Reading is preferred but not required
- Agree to the Pella Christian Schools Belief Statement
