Pella Mid-Atlantic, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Field Supervisor to oversee the Installation and Order Verification Program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and installation, with experience in supervising teams and ensuring quality control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with retail sales teams to improve the quality of Pella installations and customer experience
- Manage installation and order verification capacity to meet customer demand
- Collaborate with the Retail PC team to ensure cost-effective scheduling of sub-contracted installation teams
- Maintain the job-site evaluation process to ensure all requirements are met and review any discrepancies
- Oversee the payout system for installations, including back charges
- Track installation performance by installer and maintain periodic reviews
- Assist the installation team in early identification and formulation of a recovery plan as needed
- Mediate customer installation concerns and visit job sites to determine recovery processes
- Communicate effectively with customers, field installation specialists, installers, and sales staff to reduce confusion and resolve disagreements
- May be required to perform order verifications as needed to meet business needs
- Responsible for the direct supervision of non-exempt team members and independent sub-contracted installation crews
- Analyze data to determine potential future business needs and provide input for budgetary proposals
- Influence customer satisfaction and sales growth by creating an experience that exceeds customer expectations in professionalism, helpfulness, and ease
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 5-10 years related experience, including supervision of a team
- Ability to develop a high-level understanding of all Pella products and their applications
- Problem-solving abilities and the ability to think on their feet to resolve urgent service situations
- Open communication and professionalism at all times
- Collaborative and trustworthy with internal teams and customers
- Strong work ethic, flexible hours, responsive to customer needs, and willingness to be available
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and smart devices, and ability to learn internal software programs and applications
