The Diagnostic Medical Sonographer is responsible for daily operations of the sonographic laboratory, including patient scheduling, equipment maintenance, and quality assessment. You must possess strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a high degree of empathetic listening and tact.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- RDMS certification
- RVT or RDCS certification
- Strong ultrasound skills
- Previous hospital experience
- American Heart Association (AHA) Heart Code BLS certification
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Strong computer knowledge
