Commercial Glazing Estimator

We are a local contract glazing business specializing in high-quality commercial glass and glazing solutions. We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Commercial Glazing Estimator to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Analyze project specifications, drawings, and blueprints to prepare accurate and competitive estimates
• Work closely with clients, architects, and contractors to understand project requirements and develop cost-effective solutions.
• Source and evaluate pricing from suppliers and subcontractors
• Prepare detailed bids, proposals, and budgets for commercial glazing projects.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, materials, and installation techniques.
• Manage and track multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining accuracy.
• Collaborate with project managers and field teams to ensure a seamless transition from estimation to execution.
  
  

Qualifications

• Proven Experience as a Commercial Glazing Estimator or similar role in the construction/ glass industry.
• Strong understanding of glazing systems, materials, and installation processes.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural drawings and specifications.
• Excellent analytical and math skills with strong attention to detail.
• Experience with estimating software and tools (e.g., Bluebeam, Glazier Studio, Partner Pak, or similar)
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
