Summary
Job Description
Responsible for maintaining Pella processes with regard to the productivity, efficiency and safety of the warehouse. Daily responsibilities include coordination of warehouse product and working with radio frequency scanners. Receives, stores, and distributes material, supplies, equipment, and products within the company by performing documented duties (see below). Must be knowledgeable of and/or capable of performing all jobs in the department. Must be safety conscious.
As a backup driver loads, drives, and unloads Pella delivery truck on assigned route. Provides customer service and communication from the field. Ensures product is delivered to customer within Pella quality standards.

Education And/or Experience
Must have High School Diploma or GED and dependable work history. Prior delivery experience preferred.
Computer Skills
Familiarity with computers preferred. May be expected to develop proficiency in Pella proprietary software (i.e. PQM, POETS, OMS, etc.) and/or company email systems (Outlook).
Professional Skills
Must be a team player and exhibit a strong desire to learn and promote self-growth. Must be pro-active, self-motivated, and have a demonstrated ability to follow assignments through to completion. Attention to detail is required. Must be able to develop trust, respect, and confidence of customers, coworkers and managers. Must present in a clean and neat physical appearance.

- Comply with safety, quality and warehouse requirements and procedures.
- Must be able to follow standard work and adhere to Pella Safe Operating Procedures.
- Must be capable of performing all general warehouse positions.
- Pull and load outbound trucks. Read load lists, production schedules, requisitions, shipping orders to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
- Receive and unload inbound trucks, verify load lists, and move materials and items to locations, production, service, office or other designated areas.
- Sort and place warehouse materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as order number, size, type, style, color, or product code.
- Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves, marking materials with identifying information.
- Arrange stock parts in specified sequence for assembly by other workers.
- Drives truck loaded with Pella products to customer jobsite or other predetermined location, occasionally picks-up return products.
- Ensure vehicle is operated in safe manner at all times, in all conditions
- Maintains DOT log book
