Schedule and Availability:
- Weekdays during normal business hours from 8am to 5pm
- Some overtime as required and approved by management
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Accounts Receivable
- Manage invoice processes according to company practices.
- Prepare, post, verify, and record customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable.
- Request and pursue payment on all accounts via communication with account holder.
- Research customer discrepancies and past-due amounts with the assistance of the CFO and other staff.
- Create reports regarding the status of customer accounts as requested.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to reconcile accounts receivable on a periodic (at least bimonthly) basis.
- Maintain and update customer files, including name or address changes, mergers, or mailing attentions.
Accounts Payable
- Facilitate Accounts Payable process from receipt of invoice to payment.
- Ensure outstanding obligations are credited upon payment, identify discount opportunities, and issue purchase order amendments or stop-payment orders as needed.
- Record entry of, verify documentation for, and distribute petty cash.
- Maintain the vendor files database for payments paid and owed; and any changes to name, address, bank account, etc.
Month End Duties
- Reconcile expenses and assist with reconciliation of various balance sheet accounts.
- Generate monthly customer billing statements.
- Calculate and file Sales Tax.
- Create and distribute month end reports.
Perform all other duties as necessary or assigned.

- Ability to research and synthesize information
Computer Skills:
- Must be proficient with Microsoft suite- advanced understanding of Excel strongly preferred
- Must be familiar with smart devices
- Ability to learn and utilize proprietary Pella software programs and applications
Communication Skills:
- Ability to communicate via phone and email in a timely manner
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
- Must exhibit superior communication skills and the ability to maintain professionalism in times of adversity and pressure
- Ability to serve as a point of contact for all Collections functions
Physical Requirements:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, type or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear
- The employee is occasionally required to sit, stoop, or crouch
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time

- Work is primarily conducted onsite
