Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Superintendent to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. Duties
- Supervise daily operations on the construction site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and OSHA standards.
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors, laborers, and other personnel involved in the construction process.
- Utilize construction management software such as and Procore for project planning, tracking, and reporting.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure adherence to specifications and quality standards.
- Troubleshoot issues that arise during the construction process and implement effective solutions.
- Prepare reports on project status, including budget updates and progress assessments for stakeholders.
- Ensure proper use of equipment.
- Foster a collaborative team environment while promoting best practices in construction management.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry with a strong understanding of construction management principles.
- Proficiency in using construction management software tools such as Bluebeam, Adobe and Procore.
- Strong knowledge of budgeting processes related to construction projects.
- Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to manage teams effectively.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing project demands.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
