As an Accounting Associate, you will be responsible for:
The successful Candidate has a combination of accounting and analytical skills to ensure project results are accurate and enjoys proactively analyzing project financials to identify and support realization of opportunities to improve invoicing process and cash flow.
- Responsibilities:
- Revenue & Cash Optimization:
- Oversee and maintain billable time and expense submission and approval process.
- Own the North America billing function including the process of bi-weekly, monthly, and quarterly client invoicing.
- Support client and internal questions and concerns surrounding invoicing, POs, budget, and expenses.
- Follow up on overdue AR to help optimize collections, improve DSO.
- Accounting:
- Responsible for project creation (new client additions) and chart of account maintenance.
- Responsible for project maintenance; adding resources, removing resources, updating bill rates.
- Responsible for new employee and contractor setup within ERP.
- Ensure revenues are recognized in compliance with U.S. GAAP/ ASC 606
- Assist in the month end close process, including journal entries and validation / reconciliations.
- Assist with completion of internal and external audits.
- Bachelor’s degree, in accounting or finance.
- 0 - 3 years of experience in accounting or a related field
- Strong Excel skills
- Additional experience in Account Receivable / Collections, Product/ Customer Profitability Analysis, Working with Sales to improve margins, Client Communication
- Experience with ERP systems: Oracle ERP and Anaplan a plus
